We’ve been lucky enough to snag  Miss Tess  guitar class, during which we'll dive straight into Western Swing through the lens of the one-and-only Bob Wills.

By the end of class you will have mastered a handful of moveable closed position chord shapes on the guitar (no more capos!) so that you can easily play these classic tunes swing-style in any key.

Level I :  We’ll work on Major and Minor 6ths, Dominant 7ths, Diminished and Augmented Chords, learning each song in multiple keys to accompany any singing voice.

Level II :  After reviewing the fundamental swing guitar shapes from level I, we’ll explore some new passing chord runs, chord substitutions, and melody ideas. Based on the number system and intervals on the guitar we will learn flexibility to play these colorful progressions in any key to boot!
